the WELL foundation's primary aim is to raise money to install Hand Pumps, Deep Bore wells and establish health & sanitation programmes to provide safe, clean drinking Water for all.
Clean, safe drinking water is scarce. Today, nearly 1 billion people in the developing world don't have access to it. Yet, we take it for granted, we waste it, and we even pay too much to drink it from little plastic bottles.
Water is the foundation of life. And still today, all around the world, far too many people spend their entire day searching for it.
In places like sub-Saharan Africa, time lost gathering water and suffering from water-borne diseases is limiting people's true potential.
Education is lost to sickness. Economic development is lost while people merely try to survive. But it doesn't have to be like this. It's needless suffering.

WELL foundation deliver three types of water wells:
Community Deep Bore Well
Access to clean water can transform the lives of a whole community. Community water wells can serve more than 1,000 people. They are often located in arid areas where water is particularly scarce.
The wells are 1.5 meters wide and draw water from 50 metres or more beneath the ground, making them dependable during all seasons. These water wells provide enough clean water for families, livestock and crops.
Projects can take 9/12months.
